There are two ways of describing the action here
involving Judy Carne and Peter Deuel. At the start of the season,
you could have said that the young couple on ABC's Love On A
Rooftop was about to get off on the right foot in San Francisco's
colorful Nob Hill section. But now that the comedy series has
received its cancellation notice, the caption might better say
that they have boarded one of San Francisco's famed cable cars
for that "last ride." Judy and Peter exit smiling,
for they certainly displayed their talents in a showcase that's
bound to--hopefully--lead to better things in television.
