PETE DUEL--who likes to grow
a beard when he's not filming--is starring in a TV play that will
only be seen in the Los Angeles area! Boo hoo! Pete 's starring
in the network KCET's Hollywood Television Theatre's production
of The Scarecrow--a made-for-TV special dramatic production that
will be aired later in the year. And didya see Pete's TV sidekick,
BEN MURPHY, when his guest-starring role on Mod Squad was re-run?
Ben did a complete about-face from his usual comedy-type role
on Alias Smith and Jones by playing a real bad guy! He was great!
Here's more good news about Pete and Ben. The first episode of
Alias Smith and Jones for the new TV season will be 90 minutes
long--a full hour and a half instead of the usual 60 minutes.
This special first segment airs Thursday, September 16, at 7:30
